MEER Supports the “End Commercial Whaling” Campaign

May 2026. M.E.E.R. supports the global “End Commercial Whaling” petition to end commercial whaling. The campaign’s goal is to raise awareness about the history of commercial whaling and to end this questionable practice once and for all in the countries where whaling still takes place (Norway, Iceland, and Japan). The petition is scheduled to be presented during the 70th meeting of the International Whaling Commission (IWC) in September 2026. Until then, every single voice counts!
